Nokia has announced plans to change its brand identity after almost 60 years in the business. Nokia's President & CEO Pekka Lundmark told Reuters that "There was the association to smartphones and nowadays we are a business technology company," They also stated that Lundmark set out the company's strategy with three stages: reset, accelerate, and scale. The new logo sees the word "NOKIA" in a much more modern and minimalistic design.Gone also is the iconic blue-colored logo that is now substituted with white to help it blend seamlessly with a wider range of colors. This marks a shift of Nokia from being a service provider business by supplying equipment to telecom companies to now selling gear to other businesses.
