NVIDIA has just launched a new model of its GeForce RTX 3080. This is an increase of 2GB from the previous 10GB that was offered in the initial release of the RTX 3080 and matches the 12GB found in the RTX 3080 Ti. The new RTX 3080 also comes with 8960 CUDA cores, an increase over the original. The new RTX 3080 draws more power than the original version, up to 350 watts than the 320W draw on the original version. NVIDIA still recommends a 750W power supply for the new RTX 3080. Full pricing details for the new RTX 3080 are not available yet. This premium thin-and-light convertible is built around a new processor platform called NVIDIA RTX Spark, a "superchip" released also at COMPUTEX. Nvidia’s RTX Spark is the commercial name for its new Arm-based “superchip” for Windows PCs, built on the flagship N1X CPU-GPU design.
