This is part of Pasig LGU's ongoing projects to support the needs of students amidst the pandemic. Tugade mentioned that the project is targeted to start during the last quarter of 2020 but he's working to have it kicked off by 2019 in time for a launch in the second quarter of 2024. The said subway project aims to connect Quezon City and Taguig City that can be traveled in just 31 minutes. Moreover, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) may also be included in the project for easy commuting to and from the airport. The new project brings live CCTV traffic feeds from MMDA cameras to selected SM malls, starting with SM Megamall. SM Supermalls said the project supports simple and smart solutions that help Filipinos plan safer and smoother trips.
