The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is partnering with fintech giant GCash. Their collaboration aims to allow Filipinos to apply for both a national ID and a fully-verified GCash account in one go. In detail, this project is a collaboration between the PSA, Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and select pilot partners like GCash. Those with the GCash app should find this more convenient with more access to savings, payments, and loans.
