Qualcomm has announced their new chipset that offers premium features in gaming and AI, the Snapdragon 712. The Snapdragon 712 is the successor of the Snapdragon 710 announced last year. According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 712 provides up to a 10% increase in performance over the Snapdragon 710. As for other features, it is equipped with a Snapdragon X15 LTE Modem that can support 4G LTE 4x4 MIMO and License-Assisted Access (LAA), Qualcomm Spectra 250 camera ISP for up to 32MP images and 4K videos with video noise reduction, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ technology. Qualcomm is keeping budget phones alive and kicking with two new chips, the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 4. Qualcomm has introduced the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a new mobile chip made for more affordable flagship phones. Qualcomm confirms that brands like Motorola, OnePlus, and Vivo will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 soon. Qualcomm finally confirmed and will officially reveal the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset on November 26 in China.
