As such, we're comparing the P40 Pro+ with the top of the line smartphone from Samsung's S20-series, the S20 Ultra. Performance Both devices are running on 5G capable flagship chipsets from HiSilicon and Exynos, although the US variant of the S20 Ultra is equipped with a Snapdragon 865. While Huawei outfitted the P40 Pro+ with up to a generous 8GB + 512GB configuration, Samsung is offering the S20 Ultra with double the amount of RAM and the same 512GB of internal storage. Should you need more storage for your files, you can expand the P40 Pro+ with up to a 256GB NM card, and the S20 Ultra with up to a 1TB MicroSD card. The P40 Pro+ has a better 40MP ultra-wide and a dedicated 8MP Periscope, while the S20 Ultra has a whopping 108MP main and higher resolution 48MP telephoto camera.
