A group of Korean YouTubers is testing how durable the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is by repeatedly folding and unfolding the phone on a livestream, and the device has already passed 150,000 folds without breaking. On Day 8 of the test, they streamed for over three hours and reached the 150,000-fold mark. Samsung claims that the Galaxy Z TriFold’s display can handle up to 200,000 folding cycles. For comparison, Samsung has said the Galaxy Z Fold 7 can last up to 500,000 folds. Previous tests on that model showed it still working after 200,000 manual folds. The TriFold test is still ongoing, and viewers are watching closely to see how far it can go. Samsung is expected to launch a new foldable phone called the Galaxy Z Fold Wide this year, but it may already face competition from Huawei.
