Aside from the Galaxy A56, a new info about the Galaxy A36 5G has emerged on FCC database hinting its imminent global launch. According to the listing, the Galaxy A36 5G carries the model numbers SM-A366E/DS (dual SIM) and SM-A336U. Other rumors suggest that the Galaxy A36 will run on either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 but do take this with a grain of salt since last year’s model, the Galaxy A35, was equipped with Exynos 1380 SoC. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z TriFold for pre-order in China, priced at 19,999 Yuan (~$2,830), putting it in direct competition with Huawei’s Mate XTs in the growing tri-fold smartphone market. The device runs One UI 8 based on Android 16, supports Galaxy AI features, and introduces standalone Samsung DeX for desktop-style productivity. Samsung is expected to release the device in other regions after its initial launch in China, but no timeline has been announced.
