Smart prepaid

The Smart Prepaid eSIM is an embedded SIM for eSIM-capable devices, launched in July 2023. It can be purchased from Smart's official online store for PHP 99 (eSIM only) or bundled with a PHP 300 or PHP 500 load card. Activation involves scanning the delivered eSIM QR code and registering at smart.com.ph/simreg. The eSIM comes with a freebie of up to 21GB of data plus free calls and texts to all networks for 7 days. Unlike some competitors, Smart allows users to rescan their eSIM QR code on a new device, provided the existing eSIM profile is deleted from the old device first.

Smart regularly updates its prepaid promos. Key offers include the Power All 99 and Power All 149 promos, which provide 8GB and 12GB of all-access data respectively, both valid for 7 days and include unlimited TikTok access. The Power All 149 also includes unlimited calls to all networks. For simpler top-ups, Smart Extra Load offers regular prepaid load with free open-access data, ranging from 500MB with Extra Load 75 to 3GB with Extra Load 300, 500, and 1000. For large data needs, the ALL DATA 299 promo offers 24GB of shareable data for all sites, valid for 30 days.

Smart Prepaid subscribers with VoLTE-capable smartphones and a Smart LTE SIM can enjoy Voice over LTE (VoLTE) nationwide, which provides clearer, high-definition voice calls. They also have access to Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi), allowing calls and texts over any Wi-Fi connection. Both services use the phone's native dialer. For travelers, Smart launched the Smart Travē app in 2025, which lets users purchase local eSIM data packages for over 80 overseas destinations, starting from as low as PHP 40 per day, eliminating the need for physical SIM swaps abroad.
