Qualcomm has officially announced that its next-generation flagship mobile chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, will be unveiled at the upcoming Snapdragon Summit, scheduled from September 23 to 25, 2025, in Hawaii. Anticipated Performance Enhancements The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is expected to deliver significant performance improvements over its predecessor. iQOO has launched its newest flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15, in India, bringing one of the first devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset to global markets. Inside, the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 works with a Q3 Gaming chip, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB storage. realme has announced the GT 8 Pro today, boasting the newest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a camera system powered by RICOH GR, and a quirky ‘switch design’ feature. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the new 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip clocked at 4.32GHz, paired with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Qualcomm has just set a new benchmark for mobile computing with the announcement of its Snapdragon X2 Elite platform for PCs. The Snapdragon X2 Elite comes in three (3) configurations, with the top-end Extreme X2E-96-100 featuring 18 total cores, 12 prime cores running up to 4.4 GHz, and six performance cores at 3.6 GHz.
