So the wait is over -- Sony Ericsson Philippines today launched two entry-level Android smartphones during the Sony Ericsson Expo in Megamall -- the Xperia X10 Mini and the Mini Pro. Notice the 6 dots on top of the screen -- that represents the number of Home Screens (the bigger Xperia X10 only has 3). And though I reported here earlier that he suggested retail price is Php16,990 and Php17,990, the prices we canvassed with the stores at the Expo were way lower -- we saw one stall selling the X10 Mini for Php14,900 and the X10 Mini Pro for Php15,300. The same 3 handset-makers have their mid-range models available locally this month -- the Samsung Spica i5700, the HTC Legend and the Sony-Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini.
