A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed today between the Department of Transportation – Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) and the 40 airline companies operating at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to waive the terminal fee for OFWs and select passengers. Image by DOTr "Under the MOA, starting April 30, 2017, the International Passenger Service charge (IPSC) or the terminal fee amounting to PHP550 shall be waived for OFWs, pilgrims, Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) delegates, and others authorized by law and the Office of the President to travel outside the Philippines. The Passenger Service Charge (terminal fee) increase at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is officially in effect as of September 14. MIAA General Manager Eric Ines said that it’s been a long time since the terminal fee was increased. Since the waived transfer fee will only be applicable to the first three online fund transfers or transactions in a day made via the Landbank Mobile Banking App and iAccess, Landbank's online retail banking channel. In addition, micro-merchants have access to an increased wallet limit of up to P500,000 per month and the 1.5% transaction fee waived up to P100,000 in gross sales.
