Toshiba has announced two new tablets that sports 10.1-inch displays, Intel Atom X5 CPU, and Windows 10 OS - the Encore 10 and Encore 10K. Just when we thought that Acer already took the crown for having one the cheapest Windows-powered tablets in town in the form of the new Iconia Tab 8 W, Toshiba announces an even cheaper tablet running on Windows 8.1, the Encore Mini, which will only retail for USD119 when it becomes available later this month. Despite of its shortcomings, the new Toshiba Encore Mini should still be in the list of budget-conscious consumers who are in the market for an affordable tablet running on Windows. Folks meet the Toshiba Encore 7, a Windows 8.1 tablet with a 7-inch display which would probably be retailed for under $150.
