Leaks have revealed a new rugged device from Ulefone, the Tab R8 5G. The Tab R8 5G will be an 8-inch Android tablet, powered by a 5G chipset and an 8,800mAh battery. Alongside that, the tablet will have its own unique features such as IP68 and IP69K water and dust-proof certification, and has a military grade MIL-STD-810G certification for drop and shock resistance. The tablet will reportedly also come in two versions, standard and industry customized. The customized version will allow users to choose features that they would want to be included in the tablet including, walkie-talkie, expansion slot, 1D/2D barcode scanning, endoscope, night vision and more. Full specifications for the tablet are still unknown so stay tuned for more updates. There are still a lot of Android tablets out on the market, but it’s clear that they’re out of fashion, and Apple has simply been driving more innovation towards their iPads. The box of the iPed Android tablet itself was a poor replica of Apple's iPad with a little Android logo on the sides.
