Vivo Y55S vs OPPO A71

The OPPO A71 was just announced and made available in other countries and is billed as a smartphone for speed. How is it going to fare against Vivo's own device called the Y55s which is marketed for the same reason? The Vivo Y55S is a successor to the Y55L that was released last year. The Vivo Y55S, however, has a better CPU performance with its Snapdragon 425 chipset comparing with the MediaTek MT6750 chipset of Vivo Y55S. The OPPO A71 is yet to arrive in the country, so we do not have sample photos for it yet, while we have sample photos from the Vivo Y55S based on our full review OPPO A71 has the upper-hand in overall performance with its balanced CPU and GPU performance matched with its battery life and OS. The Vivo Y55S, on the other hand, has a good CPU performance with its SD 425 so if you are not fond of gaming, you can go with this smartphone. The OPPO A71 is priced at RM858 (~Php10,261.45) and is available in Malaysia and will be available in Bangladesh, Indonesia on September 6, 2017. The Vivo Y55S is priced at Php8,490 and is available at Vivo stores and authorized dealers.
