TikTok owner ByteDance silently launches Whee, which is their own version of a photo-sharing media platform similar to Instagram. Whee is seen as a platform for sharing photos with your close friends. According to their app description on Google Play, Whee is used to “capture and share real-life photos that only your friends see, allowing you to be your most authentic self”. The app is currently available for iOS and Android users, standing at #53 in the social networking category for the former. Meanwhile in the Play Store, 10,000+ Android devices already have it downloaded at the time of writing. Google has just announced a new version of Android 12 that is catered to larger screen sizes called, Android 12L. Android 12L will focus on tablets, foldables, and ChromeOS devices. The new android version also introduces a new taskbar that allows users to switch between different apps.
