Xiaomi 17 features

The Xiaomi 17 is now official, notably skipping the 16th iteration of their numbers-oriented series. We have a separate article for the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max for interested readers. The display also features ultra-thin bezels at 1.18mm and protection from Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass. In addition, the phone will ship with Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box. Other features include a triple ingress protection rating (IP66/IP68/IP69), Hi-Res certified stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and 4x microphones. The Xiaomi 17 is available in China, starting at CNY 4,499 (~PHP 37K) with 12GB/256GB. It looks like Xiaomi China is set to launch the Xiaomi 17 series this month. With the Xiaomi global market gearing up to launch this September, it seems that Xiaomi China is planning to unveil their next flagship smartphones with the Xiaomi 17 series.
