#YouTube Premium price increase

YouTube Premium subscription prices are set to increase in the Philippines starting October this year. The adjustment comes from price increases in other countries throughout the year. The email notes that the price increase allows the company to improve the platform, while supporting the creators and artists. YouTube Premium offers better video quality, ad-free viewing, background and offline playback, and access to YouTube Music. New features for YouTube Premium Lite include the ability to play videos in the background and download most of them for offline viewing. For users who want fewer ads plus background and offline access at a lower price, Premium Lite now looks like a much better deal. YouTube Music has started placing song lyrics behind a paywall, requiring users to subscribe to YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium to view full lyrics. To continue viewing lyrics without limits, users must subscribe to YouTube Music Premium or YouTube Premium.
