The broadband services arm of SkyCable — SkyBroadband — has a new listing of their internet service for the public consumer to enjoy that looks like a pretty good deal for a high-speed wired service.

As listed on their website, SkyBroadband now offers an unlimited internet-only plan with a speed of up to 8Mbps (most likely the downstream speed only). The plan has a monthly service fee (MSF) of Php1,399 and comes with a free Wi-Fi modem already and a 24/7 contact center hotline just in case things get wobbly. It’s got a minimum speed of 3.2Mbps with 80% reliability, as stated by SkyBroadband.
No mention of any installation and other fees upon application, just a Php1,399 initial payment if you wish to avail of the service. To check out the listing of the 8Mbps internet plan, you may visit SkyBroadband here.

i just moved in an address where the previous tenant left about a month ago. I’d like to have a sky broadband installed but looks like the prev tenant also had it before and left an owing balance. Do this balance really need to be taken care of first before someone else can have a new account/service on the same address ?
