SkyBroadband offers 8Mbps unlimited internet for Php1,399

The broadband services arm of SkyCable — SkyBroadband — has a new listing of their internet service for the public consumer to enjoy that looks like a pretty good deal for a high-speed wired service.

As listed on their website, SkyBroadband now offers an unlimited internet-only plan with a speed of up to 8Mbps (most likely the downstream speed only). The plan has a monthly service fee (MSF) of Php1,399USD 24INR 2,021EUR 23CNY 174 and comes with a free Wi-Fi modem already and a 24/7 contact center hotline just in case things get wobbly. It’s got a minimum speed of 3.2Mbps with 80% reliability, as stated by SkyBroadband.

No mention of any installation and other fees upon application, just a Php1,399USD 24INR 2,021EUR 23CNY 174 initial payment if you wish to avail of the service. To check out the listing of the 8Mbps internet plan, you may visit SkyBroadband here.

From last year’s 1599 offer, tinanggal yun “bundled with 5 HD and 25 Standard Definition Channels” para maging 1399.

In fairness, yes, on good days and nights, I am reaching the 8mbps on downloads.
On bad days, kaya hindi ko pa rin pinapaputol yun PLDT DSL 1299.

Plano ko sana pakabit ng sky broadband 1399 baka lang kasi di pwede sa area namin? location: babag1, lapu-lapu city. I’m currently a globe subscriber but im not satisfied about their service. Ug taga cebu mo especially lapu2 area comment mo if ok ra ang internet sa sky specifically ang 1399. Salamat!

ok ba ang plan 3999 sa computer shop? malate area? need ko na talaga palitan ang pldc ko e. halos wala na kinikita ang shop dahil madalas mawala ang net connection.

habang tumatagal lalong bumubwiset ang serbisyo ng skybroadband. may 3mpbs 8mpbs 16mbps 32mbps 64mbps pero lahat same lang kasi hindi mo magagamit internet mo buong araw dahil ang bagal kahit magpa kabit ka pa ng 100mpbs para ka lang nagpakabit ng 3mbps dahil sa bagal ng internet. Sa madaling araw mo magagamit. tapos kung magrereklamo ka may papupuntahin silang team sa inyo tapos irerestart lang nila yung modem mo eh kaya mo namang gawin yun. tapos wala ring mangyayari

i just moved in an address where the previous tenant left about a month ago. I’d like to have a sky broadband installed but looks like the prev tenant also had it before and left an owing balance. Do this balance really need to be taken care of first before someone else can have a new account/service on the same address ?
