Sony outs pricing of X900F series 4K HDR TV, announces X850F series

Sony announced a new series of 4K HDR Ultra HD TV’s today along with the pricing of a previously showcased model in CES 2018. Say hello once again to the X900F and a give a warm greeting to the X850F 4K HDR Ultra HD TVs.

For the features of the X900F you can head on over to our launch article here. As for the X850F series, they feature the 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range) Processor X1. It also has 4K X-reality PRO, which pairs with the X1 to up-scale Standard Definition and High Definition content to near 4K HDR levels. Other than that it has Object-based HDR remaster technology, a Triluminos display, and 4K HDR Super Bit Mapping. The X850F series comes in 65 and 75-inch sizes.

Sony has updated all of their HDR TV’s to have Google Assistant. As such, these new devices will come with it out of the box. Check out their prices below.

  • Sony XBR-75X900F 75” class (74.5” diag) 4K HDR Ultra HD TV, $3,999.99 (~Php 206,420)

Sony X850F 4K HDR Ultra HD TV Series Line Models and Prices

  • Sony XBR-65X850F 65” class (64.5” diag) 4K HDR Ultra HD TV, $1,999.99 (~Php 103,184)
  • Sony XBR-75X850F 75” class (74.5” diag) 4K HDR Ultra HD TV, $3,299.99 (~Php 170,287)

The TVs are now available for purchase in the US at Amazon, Best Buy, and authorized retailers. Local Pricing and Availability are yet to be announced.
