boy bitok, apparently, apple being referred to as “the fruit company” did not start here on yugatech. most tech blogs e.g. engadget, gizmodo, phonearena use the term (check the link below).

those who don’t know that what’s being referred to as “the fruit company” in this article, provided that the word apple is on the title is the idiot. who the fuch needs enlightenment for that other than idiotic fools! it goes without saying

@Monger so what figure of speech is that bro? You’re point is valid, but you just didn’t answer my question. Now i would say that you were foolish enough to answer that question without reading it through. But i wouldn’t say or even hint to the fact that you’re an “id**t” based on that. Now, if you can answer the question then that would be swell, you’ve by then made a point and I’ve been made the fool. If not, then the both of you should just apologize :D

@Monger you are either did not see my previous post or you just ddd not see my previous post. I’ll rephrase the question, why call Apple a “fruit company” when it obviously does not sell fruits? And just because other tech blogs are saying that it is a fruit company does that mean that they are right? I just dont see the point of calling Apple a “fruit company.” Even if others are using the term doesn’t mean that it’s right, right?

by the way, for practicality’s sake, stop thinking for a moment. Why call a phone “galaxy” when it is not a globular cluster?! why not just call it a Samsung Phone?!
Why Apple call their staff “Genius” when they don’t have the IQ of 145 and above?! Why not just call them Apple staff, because that is what they really are?

In fact, why did Steve Jobs named the company Apple when they don’t sell Apple?! Why not just call it Computer?!

If you are in a tech site and you read the word Apple, there is a high probability that they are not talking about the fruit.
