Mere days after a rumor of a flip-style foldable surfaced online, HONOR just made it official and announced the new Magic V Flip set to launch next week.
HONOR ditches the usual teaser campaign and goes straight for the reveal, with the company sharing official images via Weibo.
The series of images showcased the Magic V Flip, a clamshell-type foldable, in three distinct colors: Camellia White, Champagne Pink, and Iris Black. These also confirm the massive cover screen, said to measure over 4-inches diagonally. For reference, the Galaxy Z Flip5 had a 3.4-inch cover display.
Unlike our previous report that mentioned angular corners, the official Magic V Flip boasts comfortable rounded corners and a circular camera island.
While full specs remain under wraps, HONOR has already opened pre-orders in China. The launch is set on June 13th and is set to be unveiled at a dedicated “Technology Fashion Show” in Shanghai.
