Redmi Watch 5 Active now official: HyperOS, calls via Bluetooth

Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Watch 5 Active running HyperOS.

It sports a 2-inch LCD screen that’s square in shape with a peak brightness of 500 nits. The watch supports Bluetooth voice calling thanks to its built-in speaker and three microphones.

For battery life, it packs a 470mAh cell and Redmi touts the watch’s 18 days of uptime on a single charge.

Its sensors include a heart-rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, accelerometer as well as stress and sleep trackers. Users can take advantage of over 200 cloud watch faces and 140 sports modes.

On the subject of compatibility, the watch supports at least Android 6.0 and iOS 12.0. In addition to the Mi Fitness app or Xiaomi Wear, the watch is also compatible with Strava and Apple Health app.
