Compact, slim and chiclet keys — this China-made computer keyboard reminded me of Apple Mac’s signature silver-white keyboards. So I took home one and see if it’s any better than regular ones.
It’s not as classy and slim as the ones sold by Apple but I bet this one comes from the same factory in China (*jk*). Comes with a silicon cover too so it’s spill-proof and dust-proof.
I’m not so sure though if the Php850 price tag is really cheap.
Thanks, Abe for familiarizing us with this keyboard through your post.
That keyboard does indeed look very Mac-like.
I do like the the idea of a silicone cover – Apple should include one with their keyboard as well.
My white keyboard gets so dirty from use. A cover would be very useful.
How’s it going? I was just thinking about where you got your information from? want to share?
I found a MAC-like keyboard too. Check my post at my site: http://kixjavier.com/2010/07/29/a-cheap-mac-like-keyboard/
Sayang ang ganda sana.
Gusto ko subukan, kaso mahal.
Generic muna ako hangga’t wala pang murang ganyang keyboard.
at first glance it looks really classy, but once you touch it, it feels very cheap. It is very plastic if you removed the silicon protection, which for me is very expensive at 850. But if it is rubberized plus the silicon, i’ll go for it instantly.
I’d like to know how this compares to a laptop keyboard, or if it’s a different type. I recently bought a Pleomax slim keyboard for ~1k because it is the only keyboard I see that feels like a laptop keyboard. Pleomax is good but there are rare times that it lacks the key feedback I am expecting.
gnda niyan..
a cantos, if it was sold by other sore it will cost lesser hehehe.
without the silicon, it costs lesser. what do you think?
