The successor to the Osmo Action 3 is here – the Osmo Action 4. It is available to purchase in DJI authorized stores worldwide.
The Osmo Action 4 has a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with 155° FOV, f/2.8 aperture and a focus range of 0.4m. Its ISO range starts from 100-12800 for both photo and video capture and has a shutter speed of 1/8000 in 30 seconds or to the limit of frames per second.
With a max photo resolution of 3648 x 2736, the action camera has a digital zoom up to 4x in photos while videos are up to 2x. Zoomed in slow motion or timelapse is not available in this device.
It can record up to 4K@60fps and has a max video bitrate of 130 Mbps.
The Action 4 has a battery capacity of 1,770mAh and operate for an estimate of 160 minutes.
The Osmo Action 4, for the camera alone, is priced at USD 399. The Adventure combo, consisting of two additional batteries, a battery case and 1.5m Extension Rod, is priced at USD 499. More bundles can be found on DJI’s official store 70.
