Lumia 900, 610 comes pre-bundled with Otterbox case

Altus Communications Inc. in partnership with TenkieBox gives interested consumers all the more reason to grab a Lumia 900 and its entry-level counterpart the 610 as these phones now comes pre-bundled with OtterBox Commuter and Prefix, respectively, at no extra fee.

To keep everybody in the same page, Commuter series is OtterBox’s mid-range hard case next to the Defender series. It comprises of 2 layers of protection, a durable Silicone interior and a hard Polycarbonate outer layer which safeguards your phone from drop, dust and scratches. The Commuter for Lumia 900 will be available in two colors, Black and Glacier which complements the phone’s sophisticated look.

The other one is the Prefix which is a revamped version of Impact. Instead of using Silicone, OtterBox outfitted the Prefix with the same material as the Commuter’s outer shell. But unlike the latter, the Prefix for Lumia 610 comes in more vibrant variants Knight, Nordic Waters and Midsummer Sky to suit the device’s vibrant color.

The bundle will only be available through Altus Communication’s 76 partner stores nationwide. According to them it should be easy to spot a partner store that offers the deal. Unfortunately, current Lumia owners still have to wait a while because OtterBox is not yet offering these hard cases for separate purchase.

  1. Saw this ad yesterday in nokia store glorietta branch. I find it strange at first why glorietta’s price is higher than robinsons galleria for like almost two thousand. And then i found out that they have this “promo”. It doesn’t look free because the store offering this promo sells the item at a higher price. When i asked the sales lady why their price is more expensive and she said they have a different owner. It’s weird that they don’t align their store prices.

    • There are actually 2 huge local distributors of Nokia in the Philippines. Maybe just one distributor had this promo with Otterbox.

  2. Where can you buy the 610 bundle at a good price??
