设计与建造

OPPO在Find X的设计上可谓倾尽全力，使其外观与我们过去所见过的任何 OPPO 设备都截然不同。其显著特点之一是占据整个正面的6.4英寸全景弧形屏幕。该屏幕上下边框极窄，且屏幕与玻璃均向边缘弯曲。

虽然大多数智能手机为了容纳听筒和摄像头而拥有较厚的顶部边框，但Find X通过将听筒隐藏在手机机身内部（我们稍后会讨论这部分）来摆脱这一设计。因此，您在顶部唯一能看到的就是用于听筒的微小狭缝。

在品质方面，Find X 整体表现高端且扎实，但背板上摄像头模组上方的区域除外，该处按压时会发生形变。此外，该区域也未与机身齐平，手指滑过时触感不佳。

此外，从该弯曲测试视频来看，Find X 确实存在其局限性。尽管如此，我们并未遇到将其放入牛仔裤口袋的任何问题；不过，由于机身较高，坐下时可能会感到不适，因此我们更倾向于将其取出并手持使用。

The OPPO Find X boasts a large 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with 2340 x 1080 resolution or equal to 403ppi and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. OPPO calls this the Panoramic Arc Screen. Large screens such as this are no longer rare but the one on the Find X is worth noting due to its 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8%. This is impressive as the front of the device is almost all screen.

相机

在画质方面，后置和前置摄像头均能拍摄出色彩鲜艳、细节丰富的清晰图像，尤其在明亮环境下表现更佳。即使在光线较暗的条件下，图像依然保持清晰，尽管开始出现噪点。AI 场景识别功能可优化照片以提升输出效果。低光环境下的表现尚可，得益于图像防抖技术，画面能够保持对焦准确且无抖动。虽然可见明显噪点，但 Find X 已将其控制在最低水平。请查看下方的样张。

操作系统、用户界面与应用

软件运行的是基于 Android 8.1 Oreo 的 ColorOS 5.1。这是一个熟悉的界面，尤其是如果您之前使用过 OPPO 设备的话。它配备了其标志性的多彩图标和壁纸，并自带电话管理、主题商店、游戏空间等应用，以及 Facebook、WPS Office、UC 浏览器和亚马逊购物等第三方应用。

ColorOS comes with plenty of features and one of the things we like about it is its security. When you go inside Settings you will see options manage app permissions, Floating Windows Management to disable pop-up ads, personal information protection, Find My Device, Payment Protection, Anti-harassment/Fraud, Fake Base Station Blocking, App Lock, Kids Space, and Private Safe. We're yet to use all of these features but it's great to have them nonetheless.

Other features include the ability to clone apps so you can easily access multiple social media accounts, Full-Screen Multitasking and Screen Recording which is handy when gaming, Assistive Ball, Gesture & Motion, Smart Assistant which is located on the leftmost home screen, and Smart Driving which turns off notifications to avoid distracted driving.

When it comes to storage, you get plenty with the OPPO Find X. When I say plenty, I meant 256GB with 229GB as usable, which can certainly satisfy those planning to store plenty of photos, videos, and apps. There's no support for microSD cards but there's USB OTG.

Performance and Benchmarks

Powering the OPPO Find X is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 chipset, Adreno 630 GPU, and 8GB RAM. Given such configuration, the Find X was able to breeze through all tasks we threw at it. Navigation is smooth, apps launch fast, switching between apps is quick, and we can even game without having to clear some apps in the background. But if you want to optimize your device for gaming, you can activate Game Space to increase performance and block notifications that can disturb gameplay.

We played games like Tekken, Skydancer, PUBG Mobile which is good in HDR, Ultra settings with Anti-aliasing on, as well as Mobile Legends which can run at High graphics with High Frame Rate mode on. Warming can be felt at the backside by the OPPO logo but not too much to be a problem. Check out the benchmark scores below:

Connectivity and Battery Life

When it comes to connectivity, the OPPO Find X has everything like Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. The only thing missing here that is found in other flagship devices is NFC, but it's not really a deal breaker. All those features work well as advertised as calls are loud clear, mobile data is fast as long as the signal is good, while apps like Google Maps and Waze can pinpoint our location easily.

As for the battery, the Find X is equipped with a 3,730mAh power pack which is decent although it would have been nicer to get at least 4,000mAh. Still, it was able to last us around 9 to 10 hours of mixed usage switching between WiFi and mobile data. PC Mark rated the battery at 9 hours and 33 minutes while our video loop test yielded 17 hours and 35 minutes of playback which is good. Charging using the VOOC wall-charger takes just 2 hours from empty to full.

Conclusion

If you're a company known for mid-range devices then decided to release a flagship, you could at least expect it to go big and offer something fresh and unique at the same time. That's what OPPO did with the Find X. They didn't just take an existing smartphone blueprint, changed something here and there, put in a flagship chipset, and call it a day. No. They built something from the ground up and made it stand out. Go big or go home, right?

However, like many other devices, it has its flaws, like its build. We could be nitpicking, but we prefer the panel near the cameras to be flush and not flex. There's the bending issue as well.

Considering all the merits and flaws, we can still say that the OPPO Find X is one of the best flagship smartphones in the market right now. It has the looks, performs really well, has good cameras and battery life, and comes with a standout technology. It comes with a price tag of Php49,990 which is pricey but still within the range compared to other premium flagships.
