Motorola is closing out 2025 with two fresh entries in its budget lineup, the Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026), both offering solid essentials at affordable prices. Despite their modest labels, these are modern, feature-packed budget phones designed for everyday users.
Both devices sport a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness, while the Play series finally joins the 5G club. In terms of its optice, the Moto G 2026 packs a 50MP main camera and 32MP selfie shooter, while the Play keeps it simple with 32MP rear and 8MP front lenses. Motorola adds a sprinkle of AI features like Night Vision and auto-smile detection, powered by Android 16 and Google Gemini tools. Both come with a 5,200mAh battery, though only the Moto G supports 30W fast charging.
Priced at $199.99 ( PHP 11,723.21 ), the Moto G 2026 drops on December 11, while the Play 2026 launches earlier on November 13 for $169.99 ( PHP 9,964.64 ).
