Qualcomm is keeping budget phones alive and kicking with two new chips, the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 4. These processors are made for entry-level and mid-range smartphones, proving that 4G still isn’t going away anytime soon. The Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 brings faster performance, with a CPU that’s up to 51% quicker than before and better graphics for smoother apps and games. It supports 120Hz displays and cameras up to 108MP. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 steps into the 5G era with faster internet speeds, newer memory support, and quicker charging.
Phones powered by these chips are expected to arrive sometime next year.
