Here’s a first look at the Xiaomi 15 Ultra

The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are scheduled to launch this coming October 29th. In addition to this, there’s usually an Ultra variant that comes thereafter.

Courtesy of Smartprix, we get our first look at the alleged Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The phone’s design is surely familiar from the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, featuring a huge circular camera bump and a leather back finish.

The camera layout is quite bizarre though, with three lenses aligned horizontally (in portrait orientation). Of course, there’s the Leica moniker, and it retains the quad rear camera setup.

A notable upgrade would be the addition of the 200-megapixel periscopic telephoto (previously 50MP) with up to 4.3x optical zoom, f/2.6 aperture, and using Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to launch at a later date in February 2025 in China.
