Since it's powered by Android 9, the set-up is pretty much straight-forward. If you have experience setting up a new Android device, the procedure is pretty much the same. You'll be asked to connect it to your WiFi then input your Google account details. In our case, we were given an option to do the setup from our Android smartphone. Since all the credentials are all there, the setup is faster.

Once you're done with the setup, you will be brought to the Android TV home screen. From here, you will see pre-installed apps like Netflix, FasCast, Smart Player, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Spotify, Viu, and Disney+, to name a few. More apps can be installed by Going to the Play Store. Before you start using the apps, we highly recommend that you update the pre-installed apps. You can also go inside Settings and check if an Android OS update is available.

Taking a look at the ports, we have three HDMI, two USB-A, 3.5mm audio out, RF, RJ45, and optical port.

At 43-inches with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, the size and resolution are good enough for small bedrooms or living rooms. The picture quality is also good for its class as it is vibrant with accurate colors, so we didn't have to tweak it. But in case you need to, you can do so within the TV's settings.

The audio quality is decent. It's loud and crisp and capable of producing stereo sound. The bass is decent, but you can connect it to a soundbar or bigger speakers if you want a better sound experience.

So far, we're enjoying the Xtreme MF-4300VX. Since it is already running on Android, we don't need to plug a separate Android TV Box or Chromecast, and we can control everything from a single remote. The apps work fine as well, and we were able to binge-watch on Netflix and YouTube. If you have a movie collection stored in an external hard drive or flash drive, you can connect it to the USB ports and access the contents using the Smart Player app.

What makes the Xtreme MF-4300VX more enticing is that it only costs PHP 12,990. It's a great starter TV for those living in condos or those looking for an additional TV for the home. If you're on a budget and want something to help you binge-watch those series, make sure to consider this one.
