So, that’s why Luis hasn’t been updating his blog for over a month. I thought he’d gone off the face of the Earth had he not attended the Blog Parteeh! last month (and no post about it on his blog too).
Ok, moving on, do check out his two new projects that just launched or in the case of OdysseyLive, a revamped of the earlier social music sharing site MobiusLive.
The other one is 3eep which is a sports site. Is that pronounced as (three-eep?). I haven’t really dug deeper though I was a bit confused that the old mobiuslive name was scrapped in favor of oddyseylive (possible trademark issues?). Again, I’m also curious how the download and sharing would end up to be as it’s still in alpha stage.
Chief, Luis has a blogparteeh post. He is one of the reasons why I think we should have a Tech Blogger EB!
DRM = Kiss of Death
But DRM can be cracked easily, so…
Sounds like an exciting new website for all… I took a peek and it also looks great..
Great job…
DRM? Damn.
Oh, and Odysseylive will be offering both indie and signed artists (the presence of DRM will depend on the label). music purchasing should be underway by early March, so stay tuned :)
i think it was an acquisition issue.
hey abe, thanks for the link up (my blog url is guttervomit.com though, not guttevomit.com).
some explanations:
the original mobiuslive.net was a project of Mobius Games, the MMORPG operator. since the project was launched in October of last year, they’ve been talking to the folks at Odyssey Music & Video, and very recently have “tied the knot,” so to speak. the new brand, Odysseylive, represents a joint venture between the two companies and is Odyssey’s first major step on to the interwebs.
