Others are calling it the Nokia Tube, though that’s not really the real name of this new Nokia Touch UI phone coming out first quarter of 2009. I thought I saw that phone in Singapore during the Ovi launching last year.
Nokia denied existence of that touch phone though (see their video presentation with the phone in it). Story and photos exclusive from Symbian Freak:

The form factor is similar to the Nokia N73 but a little wider with the following specs:
GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSDPA
WiFi
Bluetooth
Global Positioning System (GPS)
2 to 3 megapixel camera
3 to 3.5 inches widescreen with 16:9 aspect ratio
5th Gen Touch S60
I’m trying not to compare this to the iPhone because the latter is incomparable. Whatever Nokia lacks in touch usability and OS for this phone model, it tried to compensate for features. And for me, the GPS, Wifi and HSDPA on a Nokia phone trumps an EDGE/WiFi iPhone any day.

This shouldn’t be a rumor. They already had touch phones before, even before iPhone came out.
Wow, that’s pretty neat.
Thanks for sharing this information.
Interesting to see what apple has to show in June for the new IPhone
Looks well-built, smaller than iPhone and I’ll buy it coz of the stylus, and it’ll probably have handwriting software added. Hope it starts at 8GB.
How does it compare with the SonyEricsson X1?
the X1 as I recall is Windows Mobile …
As a user and developer for both Symbian and Windows Mobile … Symbian > WinMo
mmm wifi on my mobile
I guess we have to start saving now for this phone. Blame it on Moore.
Aha! A sure iPhone killer!
Siguro ito na ang katapat ng iphone and our chance to get hold of our own iphone!
