2006 Podcast Awards

Janette of Digital Filipino emailed me about this year’s Podcast Awards:

The Podcast Awards was created and is managed by Podcast Connect Inc. Located at 5032 Kamehameha Lp. Honolulu, Hi. 96818. This is the second annual event that will recognize the best podcasters in the world by allowing the people (Listeners and Podcasters) to nominate, and then vote for their favorite podcast.

Any chance that there might be a Pinoy Podcast Awards? Hmm… Now there’s a thought. Is the Pinoy Podcasting scene ripe for an awards competition? Or is there one already? So much can happen so quickly.

I wonder when there will be a LOT of Pinoy podcasters. Otherwise, the Pinoy Podcast Awards might look like a mini-EB. =)

Hi Manuel,

I checked your list of Filipino podcasters and there isn’t a lot pa to warrant a separate award. Hopefully, there will be more.
