I completely forgot about this but I hope I’m not too late to publicly thank Asia Century for featuring YugaTech in their affiliate network.
I’ve personally met Anders of Asia Century a couple of times and he graciously offered me the free publicity in his network. Same goes to his team who did the extra effort of doing the banner ads. It sure did brought in tens of thousands of traffic.
I’ve been running their Affiliate Program for months now (I think I’m actually the first one to beta test it) and it’s been getting me some extra revenue. It’s not much compared to the other programs I’ve used but the few thousand bucks was worth the effort.
Asia Century offers country-specific affiliate programs so you can actually maximize your Philippine traffic. Here are some major points I’d like to focus on:
- All affiliate programs are specific to the Philippines so you get better conversions because it’s targeted.
- Most affiliate campaigns are in a form of a contest or giveaways. This is also a click-magnet and further increases conversion rate. Each conversion earns you only Php2.00 but because they have multiple campaigns (more than 10 at a time), you get multiple conversions per visitor. That means a single visitor in your website can potentially earn you Php20 or more.
- No limitations on promoting the affiliate campaigns. While other programs such as AdSense prohibits you from promoting the ads, Asia Century allows you to pimp your ads as much as you can. Thus, you can tell your readers to join in the campaigns that offer prizes and stuff.
- It’s platform agnostic. That means you can use their campaigns on any website or electronic medium — via email, forums, blogs, social networking sites, groups/lists, RSS, etc. As long as you can convert, you get to earn.
- They offer pay-per-click campaigns too.
The best conversions I’m getting so far is running them thru my RSS feeds. If you’re interested to join them, just sign up here.

Is there any chance that you will get banned like in Google AdSense?
Yea yoga is there any chance to get banned? cause i’m planning to be publishers.
@John & Mark – was discussing several possibilities on accounts getting banned by Anders Barris, the CEO of Asia Century.
For the affiliate marketing, as long as you convert visitors, there’s no problem with it. Of course, don’t spam people with affiliate links.
For the PPC part, they’ve installed several filters – IPs, cookies, etc, — to make sure there are no fraudulent clicks. This is the reason why the total clicks and the audited clicks are reported separately in the Publisher admin panel. Of course, the whole technology behind the filtering is not going to be shared publicly to avoid people going around that filter.
well i’ve tried them but their servers went down after i placed 2-3 of their ads on my site. they added more ram but still having the same issues thereafter.
cpc’s are low but still acceptable. they could increase their cpc/lead rates to attract more website owners to use them.
not bad for a young online advertising company. if i’m not mistaken they are practically the first online ad network which solely caters to Philippine traffic.

Hi Alex,
Yup, I guess your site is the reason why they went down. hehe
They told me they’re growing real fast – over 1 million ads served per day.
yup they actually called me up several times via my cell to remove the ads and then place it back again, then remove them again lol.
I just wished the owner was a Filipino tho, not a foreigner. But i got nothing against Anders of course hehe.
Hey Abe why don’t you start your own ad company.
Will support you for sure
-Alex
Yung ads ng Smart Buddy, galing din po ba yan sa Asia Century?
@Boy – they are direct ads.

I’m planning to become a publisher of Asia Century, I hope you can give me some feedback about them.
Thanks!
LiNTEK
@LiNTEK – Try it first with your remnant ad slots or in your RSS to see if it fist well with your blog visitors. Remember that they are after Philippine-based traffic.

Dear Friend,
We are a British family, currently have two kids aged 2yrs and 4yrs old, we looking for a Aupair or Nanny from Any Country that can speak English and is willing to stay with us for a minimum of 2years
About Our Family…..
We are a professional couple, My kids are fairly easy going and relaxed, they would enjoy someone with lots of energy and enthusiasm. Having English as a first language is not required and in fact, we would entertain the nanny speaking to him in her own mother-tongue.
We only seek a Aupair for basic child care and light housework. If you accept to take a position with us, you would be paid £1100 Gpb with a weekly pocket money of £120. Hence we are doing anything that would motivate the intending Nanny to put in his/her best in taking care of our child.
You shall have a private accomodation with furnished sitting room and bedroom and also a private bathroom. A Fixed landphone and an Internet ready computer. Do well to send us your references or resume, and we would get in touch with them. Should the outcome be positive, we would send you a Contract Letter. We shall discuss travel arrangements in due course of which I would be of generous assistance to you.
You can reach me on this

Best Wishes,
Engr. Richard Barry,
For the family
Did you design the site on your own or is this a free template? Either way, it looks great. Cheers.
The website is now down!
AsiaCenturyPH.com is already down. What happened, yuga?
How about my earnings?
I think they’ve filed for bankruptcy when advertisers were not able to pay them.
