Apple sent in a review unit of the new iPod Shuffle 3G. Though obviously lacking the usual control buttons, I'm still a bit amused at how small this iPod is (compared to the older generation Shuffles). In the box: earphones with controls, short USB and iPod Shuffle. Last night, Apple refreshed its iPod Shuffle. The 3rd generation Shuffle has again shed off some skin (at 0.3" wide) as well as the control buttons which might get users frustrated. The iPod Shuffle's transformation reminds me of Juicy Fruit (the chewing gum). iPod shuffle comes with the Apple Earphones with Remote and the iPod shuffle USB cable; now shipping from the Apple Store for Php4,190 and comes in Silver or Black. Technically, it is -- at 6.2mm as opposed to the 3rd gen which is 6.5mm. With the older iPods, you had to buy a separate plug-in device from 3rd party providers like Belkin.
