Google Chrome recently got promoted to version 1.0 and dropping the beta label. At the same time, it also got another promotion on Google Pack, pushing back FireFox down as the default web browser.
After Google officially abandoned Firefox in favor of its own branded Chrome browser, it looks like Mozilla sought the help of Yahoo to continue to promote its open source browser.
Google developed the Chrome browser in an attempt to grab a chunk of Internet Explorer’s market share. It was able to impressively get 1% share on day 1, not against Microsoft’s IE, but away Mozilla Firefox and Safari.
Now that most of us have downloaded and tried the new Google Chrome browser, what’s the verdict? Will Chrome become your primary web browser of will you stick with you favorite one?
