The guys at Jen-1ne Distributor sent this in over the week-end — a box full of mice and keyboards from Pleomax. Incidentally, the Pleomax brand is also owned by Samsung for the computer accessories line.
The Pleomax brand is fairly new, started only around 2003, and represents Samsung’s product brand for digital media and IT consumables. However, you’d seldom see the Samsung logo in them (except maybe in the serial sticker or product manuals).
What’s inside the box — 4 computer mice, 3 keyboards, a headphone and a USB keypad calculator. Check out the shots of each one below. Been unpacking all of them last night and trying each one out.
The keyboards are pretty nice and slim. I especially liked this superslim multimedia keyboard (PKB-780B) with the keys a little bit recessed (similar to the ones in laptops) so touch typing is easier. Aside from the multimedia keys on the top portion, it’s nothing too special about the construction and layout (they’re pretty standard IMO).
The other one is this variable sensitivity laser mouse. There’s a button just above the scroll wheel that allows you to change the mouse sensitivity from 400 to 1600 dpi.
No idea yet on the retail price but will update this post once I get them.

The Laser optical mouse with sensitivity switch is selling for 650 Php in Greenhills.

nakita ko yung pleomax mouse sa SM North at mejo mahal, P900! nung monday nagpunta ako sa officewarehouse at binebenta lang nila yan for 600+ hehehe~ sayang at nakabili ako ng A4Tech, that mouse would’ve been better. (although I wish may 2x click din siya…)
