If you’re already using Feedburner to manage your feeds, then you might already be familiar with its “Subscribe to Feed by Email” feature. What you might have overlooked is that you can schedule the deliveries of your feed. Here’s how you do that:

1) Login to your FeedBurner account and go to Publicize.
2) On the Services tab, go to Email Subscription and click on Delivery Options.
3) Select your timezone (i.e. GMT+8: Hongkong, Singapore, etc.).
4) Schedule Email Delivery. Hit the Activate or Save button.
The last option is one I’ve been experimenting on for some time now. It’s a little tricky what time should email deliveries be made to your subscribers. It used to be around 7PM then I switched it to 11AM thinking that if subscribers get the deliveries early, they’d be alerted of newer posts immediately rather than later in the evening.
However, one should also bear in mind the posting frequency and the normal publishing hours. If by the time the deliveries are sent and you don’t have any posts up on your blog yet, then there’s nothing to send out to and it gets pushed for the following day. If you hit the sweet spot, then the benefits could vary from getting more pageviews to having livelier discussions in the comments thread.
