We also asked Smart if they will sell the prepaid kit of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and they said yes. The price for the locked Galaxy S3 with a prepaid kit is Php31,500.
That’s about Php1,500 cheaper than the suggested retail price of Php32,990 (for the unlocked model).
Once everything pans out and subs have gotten their handsets, you should start seeing the Samsung Galaxy S3 in the Smart Online Store.
If the prepaid kit way out of the range of your pocket, then you might consider the Smart UnliData Plan 2000 which comes with a free handset.
When is 32gb model going to be available? Globe or smart
How different will it be from the one Globe offers? Any bundled promo items or the like?
Sir Yuga, would you know if the 32gb and 64gb units will be available in the country. It’s my deciding factor kc why i’d ever replace my gs2. How much, if ever?
May I ask what is a prepaid kit?
hi, a prepaid kit (i think) refers to a sim-locked device without a postpaid plan. In this case, you are buying just the SG3 unit without the service plan (like that of unlidata plan 2000) but for sure it will be locked in smart network. you have to provide for a smart prepaid sim to use the device. Hope this helps.
It will be handset price vs. services that will be key points on deciding where to get.
Globe offers it P1560 cheaper. I don’t say but it’s up to consumers what network they’ll stick on.
Actually globe is offering it at SRP (32990) which is more expensive. reread the article on yugatech about it. There was a pricing error.
