Facebook Messenger gets updated with new camera features

Facebook just pushed an update for its messaging platform with full features making its camera more fun and powerful for sharing.

If you think Messenger will not get any more complicated, the new camera update gives the basic camera feature art and special effects. Also, it makes the camera the main tool you’d use for communication.

The update basically makes Messenger a lot like Snapchat and takes a few cues from its sister app, Instagram. There are a few 3D masks and artistic filters to apply plus frames, stickers, and effects courtesy of global artists and influencers.

The new Messenger update is already rolling out to all Android and iOS devices.
