Microsoft announced its AI Copilot earlier this year, and now the tech giant is ready to integrate it to its existing and upcoming products.
With Copilot, it intelligently incorporates the context and intelligence of the web and AI, your work data, and your current activities on your PC to provide personalized assistance, while prioritizing your privacy and security.
Copilot will specifically roll out to Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Bing and Edge over the coming days.
Copilot in Windows 11 update
Windows 11’s upcoming update will introduce over 150 new features that aim to enhance productivity and simplify tasks. These features include:
- The integration of Copilot
- A new Outlook for Windows
- AI-powered enhancements in Paint and Photos
- Improved Clipchamp
- A modernized File Explorer
- New natural voices in Narrator to enhance accessibility and productivity
The rollout of these updates will begin on September 26 with the latest update to Windows 11, version 22H2.
New features on Bing and Edge
Bing’s latest features offer personalized answers based on chat history, an enhanced DALL.E 3 model from OpenAI in Bing Image Creator, and Content Credentials that utilize cryptographic methods to invisibly watermark all AI-generated images in Bing, including their original creation time and date.
Bing Chat is accessible with with Microsoft Edge and visit bing.com/chat. These features will begin rolling out soon.
Copilot in Microsoft Shopping
Bing and Edge now offer personalized recommendations and the best prices based on your request, thanks to AI. Additionally, you’ll soon be able to kickstart your shopping experience by using a photo or saved image as the initial reference point.
Bing Chat Enterprise Updates
Bing Chat Enterprise, now accessible on the Microsoft Edge mobile app, provides multimodal visual search and Image Creator to enhance creativity at work.
Over 160 million Microsoft 365 users already enjoy free access to Bing Chat Enterprise.
Microsoft 365 Copilot for Enterprise
Starting from November 1, 2023, enterprise customers will have access to Microsoft 365 Copilot.
