12 Top-Earning IT/Tech Executives in the Philippines

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has recently released their annual list of Top 500 Individual Taxpayers. This list includes prominent names coming from different industries and based on this we compiled our own list of the twelve highest-earning IT executives in the country.

Author’s note: Estimated annual compensation is based on computed taxable income derived from income tax paid to the BIR in the years 2010-2012. In this list, we included executives that work for IT-related, BPO and the general tech sector.

We’d like to clarify that figures above are all based on BIR’s 2010-2011 report on taxes paid. Income derived from other sources (like sale of shares of stocks, real property and dividends) are not included.

* MVP’s income also includes Meralco and Philex Mining Corporation.

* This is not a definitive list. List does not include IT executives where 100% of taxable income is already withheld by their respective companies.

People wag kayo mag away.. remember that we are living in a third world country.. natural lang n mahal ang mga bagay bagay para sa atin kasi sa liit ng sahud at sa laki ng tax.. although true that cheaper and mga bilihin sa pinas comparing sa ibang bansa kasi maliit masyado ang value ng peso sa dollar.. kung totoosin wala panga.. kaya tanggapin nalang kasi ganon talaga..

Tignan nyo yung highest income. Halos lahat nasa SMART/GLOBE/PLDT.

Laki laki ng kinikita hindi man lang ma improve yung services nila.

Sobrang mahal pa ng services nila.

Ako kahit papano nagpapasalamat dahil nakakasurf dahil sa murang Internet, imagin sa globe may plan sila na Unlimited internet for one month just for P598 or $14/month. Plan 499 plus supersurf pv999 = P598 lang a month. DITO LANG YAN SA PINAS.

These guys don’t pay taxes. Instead, they rip off Filipinos who pay taxes! Sana po ma-alala nyo itong mga hayop na ito sa susunod na senatorial/presidential (oo, yung iba sa kanila may balak pang tumakbo bilang presidente) elections!
