Smart glasses that are capable of video recording, meshing your everyday life with AI, and pushing your productivity further seem to be the “in” thing nowadays. The most popular examples being the Ray Ban Meta and the Rokids. Well, it looks like Samsung is ready to come up with a competitor through the release of the Galaxy Glasses later this year.

There isn’t much known about it, but a reliable tipster was able to go through the device’s companion app.

Here, we saw the setup with the Warby Parker model of the Galaxy Glasses.

Based on this image, there will be a Power switch on the left-hand side which will be a sliding toggle. There will also be a light on the case that can indicate charging status –  like on TWS earbuds.

The Galaxy Glasses will run Samsung’s in-house One UI XR.

Other rumors point towards an onboard 155 mAh battery pack, directional audio, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX681 sensor onboard. It will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1+ chipset and weigh around 50 grams.

There is a high chance that most AI features (if not all) will be Gemini-powered, with native support for most Google applications.
