ASUS lanza las portátiles ROG Zephyrus G14, TUF Gaming A15 y TUF Gaming A17, con precios

ROG by ASUS ha anunciado las actualizadas líneas de portátiles Zephyrus G14, TUF Gaming A15 y TUF Gaming A17 para 2020.

El Zephyrus G14 cuenta con una pantalla de 14 pulgadas IPS que funciona a 120Hz, el procesador AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS y la GPU NVIDIA RTX 2060. En cuanto al almacenamiento, viene con 16GB de RAM y un SSD PCIe de 1TB. También cuenta con el diseño LED AniMe Matrix de ASUS, que permite a los usuarios mostrar gráficos y texto en la tapa del portátil.

El TUF Gaming A15 y A17 están equipados con una pantalla de alta tasa de refresco de 15 o 17 pulgadas IPS, procesadores AMD de la serie H de 4000 y hasta una GPU NVIDIA RTX 2060. Vienen con 8GB de RAM y una combinación de SSD PCIe + 1TB HDD.

Las laptops TUF Gaming A15 y A17 incluirán una mochila TUF Gaming gratuita valorada en PHP 2,495 y un mouse TUF Gaming M5 (modelo RTX 2060) valorado en PHP 1,250 con cada compra.

El ROG Zephyrus S14, por otro lado, incluirá una funda ROG de 14 pulgadas valorada en PHP 1,500, la cámara externa ROG GC21 valorada en PHP 4,800 y un mouse ROG Strix Impact valorado en PHP 1,500. La compra de los modelos con matriz LED AniMe también incluye un vale por PHP 5,000 para Sole Academy.

I got mine just recently from Shopee: Asus TX (chinese TUF version) A15, Ryzen 7 4800H, 144hz screen, RTX 2060, 512 SSD, 16gb (2×8, but only one is 3200mhz the other stick is just 2666mhz, perhaps the seller just frankensteined the second stick into it just to make an appealing 16gb offering since my model is a chinese version with only 8gb orginally). PHP67K.

This is one heck of a beast! I used it for CAD work and its plenty fast, really makes my workflow much easier. But the screen is below average/ borderline crap. It is 144hz alright, but the colors are washed out and not that accurate. I have a huawei matebook 13 1440p and MSI MAG272 27 1440p monitor, and I cried every time I look at the screen of this f*cker. But this is a non-issue for me since I have a good external monitor. Look elsewhere if you need color-accurate screen, but for normal and gaming use, the screen will suffice I guess.

Price to performance, this is definitely a good value, just dont buy it for the prices that are stated here.

Benstore appears to be selling the 90Wh model of the TUF A15 at PHP74,900, and it seems that they order it from abroad. Does anyone have any experience buying from their online store?

Personally the specs on paper especially in terms of raw performance is impressive overall but given the international pricing it still just saddens me of how much expensive it is to have these laptops in our country and also decreasing the ram installed to 8Gb

I was really looking forward with TUF A15 with 90Wh battery but it looks like it’s not available on this launch. Looking at the specs A15 comes with HDD so that means an HDD caddy is added in lieu of the 90Wh battery. :(
