Intel’s NUC mini-PC has only been available in Celeron, Core i3 and Core i5 variants since the start of the year but Intel PH has promised a new 5th generation Core i7 variant will come by Q3.
Intel Philippines and PC Express jointly introduced the PCX Cobalt NUC last March (check out our review here).

The new variant that just came out this week comes with a 5th generation Intel Core i7-5557U processor (3.1GHz, up to 3.4GHz Turbo Boost) and Iris 6100 graphics. The kit can be upgraded with up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM and a choice of M.2 SSD card or 2.5-inch SATA3 HDD.
The NUC Kit (NUC5i7RYH) has a retail price of Php25,500.
