Listen to article

Qualcomm has announced that its annual Snapdragon Summit will take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, in Hawaii, where the company is expected to introduce its next-generation Snapdragon processors.

The dates were confirmed through Qualcomm’s official Instagram account. The event is expected to feature the company’s latest mobile chip announcements, including the anticipated Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.

While Qualcomm has not officially confirmed the products that will be unveiled during the summit, the Snapdragon Summit has traditionally served as the company’s stage for introducing its flagship mobile platforms. These chips are expected to power many premium Android smartphones launching in 2027.

Industry reports also suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series could be Qualcomm’s first flagship mobile processors manufactured using a 2nm process, although the company has yet to confirm the manufacturing details or pricing.

More information about the upcoming processors is expected during the three-day event, including their performance improvements, AI capabilities, and other new technologies.

Qualcomm is expected to share additional details about the event as Snapdragon Summit 2026 draws closer.
