So Apple just announced the new iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max. So if you’re already an owner of the iPhone X, the question now becomes — is it worth it to upgrade to the iPhone XS?
Here are 5 reasons why the iPhone XS is not worth your money.

Same old design. Nuf said.
It’s no secret the Apple popularized the notch on the display and perhaps even made it cool. But as more and more vendors minimize the notch and attempt to remove the notch altogether (OPPO Find X, VIVO NEX, Samsung Galaxy Note9), Apple hasn’t even made any effort to reduce the size of the notch on the display. Still ugly, right?
Not much improvement here either. Even with a more efficient A12 Bionic chip, the battery life is only 30 minutes longer than that of the iPhone X. In real-world usage, this might not even be noticeable between the two.
So you shelled out over Php60,000USD 1,022INR 86,676EUR 974CNY 7,446 for the iPhone X last year. Unless you have tons of money to spare, there’s not much reason to spend that same crazy amount of money for the iPhone XS.
There’s a cheaper but bigger iPhone, the iPhone XR. It costs 25% lower ($749PHP 43,955INR 63,478EUR 713CNY 5,451) than the iPhone XS ($999PHP 58,627INR 84,665EUR 951CNY 7,271) but has almost the same features. At that price, maybe you can even sell your one-year-old iPhone X and buy the iPhone XR without spending extra. It comes in 6 new cool colors too!

The iPhone XR is just a common lcd display unlike the iphoneX which is OLED HDR so why would you advise to sell an iphoneX from last year to this XR version? Also the XR has a single cam compared to the dual cam of the iphoneX so in that sense its a downgrade

So much hate. It’s definitely worth your money if you’re coming from iPhone 6s or earlier. Why compare it with iPhone X? who changes their phone on a yearly basis?
