Along with the announcement of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, Apple also revealed a newer chipset — the Apple A12 Bionic.

The new Apple A12 Bionic is world’s first 7-nanometer chip that comes with a 6-core CPU and a 4-core GPU giving it a 50% faster performance. The 2nd-gen 8-core Neural Engine has support for Dedicated Machine Learning and Smart Compute System.
What’s more impressive is that the Neural Engine can now process up to 5 trillion operations per second, up from 600 billion ops of the A11.
