Google takes you underwater with Maps Ocean

Listen to article

Looks like Google Maps is not satisfied in covering just every piece of land on Earth and has decided to go under the sea as well with Maps Ocean, allowing users to explore living coral reefs around the world without getting their feet wet.

Maps Ocean is an addition to Google Maps which shows underwater panoramic images of six of the ocean’s most incredible living coral reefs, including the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the Molokini crater in Maui, Hawaii and the marine reserve in Apo Island in Dauin, Philippines.

The images are clear and beautiful that some are worthy to be saved as desktop wallpapers. Check out the complete underwater collection here and don’t forget to view in full screen.

Enjoy the virtual scuba diving, guys!

Sows, ang Apple matalo ang Google pag-dating sa Maps? Maybe not for now, Google pa rin ang the best sa Maps. Ang alam lang ng Apple eh mangopya ng features ng iba tas lalagyan lang nila ng konting gimik then boom, papatok na sya sa mga fanboys!
